For extra strength and stability, the outer tines have a diameter of 3 mm. The remaining tines have a diameter of 2.5 mm. The sturdy clamping bracket ensures the tines keep their correct shape. In addition, the holes in the bracket have the same size as the tines — 3 mm for the outer ones and 2.5 mm for the others. This prevents unnecessary friction, resulting in less wear. The waxing gives the handle a longer lifespan, makes it pleasantly smooth to the touch and prevents blisters.
