The ATLAS litter picker has a lightweight anodised aluminium tube handle. The picker is operated with a metal handle grip; the mechanism is built into the handle. The galvanized head is fitted with metal grips with a strong plastic coating. Stuck waste can be loosened with the open ends of the picker.
