Manure fork handle or pitchfork handle ATLAS made of ash wood, bent model with a length of 85 cm. Equipped with a ferrule, a drilled hole, and a strong through-mount T-grip. Suitable for forks with a tapered socket connection.
ATLAS fork handles are made from ash wood rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood boards are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is computer-controlled redried in a climate chamber. By redrying, the handle does not shrink, tools stay rock-solid on the handle, and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or a staple.
Next, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural color. Waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS manure fork handles are manufactured entirely energy-neutral in the Netherlands and are available in various lengths and designs.
