ATLAS Jumbo post hole digger no. 2, complete with ATLAS ash wood handles 95 cm long, fitted with red-painted hardened steel blades and an adjusting chain, total length 150 cm. Suitable for digging holes with a diameter of 150 to 320 mm. The dimensions of the blades are: 220 mm high x 190 mm wide at the top of the blade x 150 mm wide at the bottom of the blade.
With the hardened steel, hollow-formed blades, holes can be dug in various soil types. The blades are inserted into the ground. By moving the handles apart, the blades grip the soil. The adjusting chain can be used to set the desired width. The adjusting chain also serves as a lock during transport or storage.
The ASH handles of the ATLAS post hole digger are fitted with a milled slot. This slot fits exactly over the steel rib on the inside of the socket. Thanks to this tongue-and-groove connection, the handles stay firmly in place and do not rotate during use.
