Atlas Jumbo post hole digger no. 2, complete with ash wood ATLAS handles 150 cm long, fitted with red-painted, hardened steel blades and an adjusting chain. Suitable for digging holes with a diameter of 150 to 320 mm. The dimensions of the blades are: 220 mm high x 190 mm wide at the top edge of the blade x 150 mm wide at the bottom edge of the blade.
With the hardened steel, hollow-shaped blades, holes can be dug in various soil types. The blades are driven into the ground. By moving the handles apart, the blades grip the soil. The adjusting chain can be used to lock in the desired width. The adjusting chain also serves as a lock during transport or storage.
The ash wood handles of the ATLAS post hole digger are fitted with a milled slot. This slot fits exactly over the steel rib on the inside of the socket. Thanks to this tongue-and-groove connection, the handles stay firmly in place and do not turn during use.
