Manure fork handle or hayfork handle ATLAS made of ash wood, rectangular model with a length of 90 cm, equipped with a T-grip. Suitable for forks with forged springs. For assembly, two 50 mm rivets are recommended (item number 651620, including assembly advice).
ATLAS fork handles are made from ash wood rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood boards are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is computer-controlled redried in a climate chamber. Because of the redrying, the handle will not shrink, keeping the tool firmly fixed to the handle.
Next, the ATLAS handle is waxed with the plant-based Carnauba wax. This allows the wood to breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful light color. The waxing provides a longer lifespan and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. In addition, the plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS manure fork handles are manufactured entirely carbon-neutral in the Netherlands and are available in various lengths and versions.
