ATLAS club hammer handle made of ash wood for a 2000 gram club hammer or stoning hammer, with head size 22 x 37.5 mm and length 26 cm. Manufactured according to DIN 5135 standards and suitable for club hammers or stoning hammers with DIN 6475 standards.
Due to the oval shape of the handle, the hammer head is always positioned in the correct striking direction. For mounting the handle, a metal hammer wedge no. 4 with article number 651445 is recommended.
ATLAS club hammer handles are made from ash wood rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood planks are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. Because of the re-drying, the handle does not shrink and the hammer head stays firmly attached to the handle.
Next, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural color. The waxing results in a longer service life and a pleasant smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. In addition, the plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS club hammer handles are manufactured entirely carbon-neutral in the Netherlands and are available in various lengths and designs.
