ATLAS club hammer handle made of hickory for a 1000 gram club hammer or stoning hammer, with head size 18.5 x 31.5 mm and a length of 25 cm. Manufactured according to DIN 5135 standards and suitable for club hammers or stoning hammers with a DIN 6475 standard.
Thanks to the oval shape of the handle, the hammer head is always aligned in the correct striking direction. For installing the handle, a metal hammer wedge no. 4 with article number 651445 is recommended.
Hickory is a heavy and hard American wood species that is even stronger than ash wood. Hickory wood is particularly tough, shock-resistant, and resilient. The ATLAS hickory handle is also waxed with plant-based carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural color. The waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. In addition, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS hickory club hammer handles are, for the most part, manufactured energy-neutrally in the Netherlands and are available in various lengths and designs.
