ATLAS club hammer handle made of hickory wood for a 1250 gram club hammer or stoning hammer, with head size 18.5 x 31.5 mm and length 26 cm. Produced according to DIN 5135 standards and suitable for club hammers or stoning hammers with DIN 6475 standards.
Because of the oval shape of the handle, the hammer head is always in the correct striking direction. For mounting the handle, a metal hammer wedge no. 4 with article number 651445 is recommended.
Hickory is a heavy and hard American wood species that is even stronger than ash wood. Hickory wood is exceptionally tough, shock resistant, and resilient. The ATLAS hickory handle is also waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural color. The waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS hickory club hammer handles are manufactured, for the most part, energy-neutral in the Netherlands and are available in different lengths and versions.
