Dutch model shovel with polished blade and long ash wood ATLAS handle
Scoop shovel AB&C, Dutch model with socket position 1/2 bent and blade size 00, complete with a bent ATLAS shovel handle in a length of 130 cm.
An AB&C (A. Bredt & Co.) scoop shovel is extra hardened, polished, and has a sharp cutting edge.
The ATLAS shovel handle or shovel handle is made from ash wood root stock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood has been computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. As a result, the handle does not shrink and tools stay firmly attached to the handle.
ATLAS handles are bent in boiling water. This allows the wood grain or fibers in the handle to bend along with it and prevents the grain from running out of the handle. The bending process makes the handle extremely strong. In addition, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba, which ensures a longer lifespan and a pleasantly smooth handle, preventing blisters.
