This RUHR BRILLANT scoop shovel is made of extra hardened, high-quality steel and has a sharp cutting edge. The blade is fitted with a polished edge, allowing the shovel to move smoothly through the soil and release easily.
The ATLAS Gooseneck Shovel Handle is made from ash rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood has been computer-controlled back-dried in a climate chamber. As a result, the handle does not shrink, the tool stays firmly attached to the handle, and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or a staple.
ATLAS handles are bent in boiling water. This allows the wood grain in the handle to bend along with it and prevents the grain from running out of the handle. The bending process makes the handle extremely strong. In addition, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba, which ensures a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters.
