Digging spade with extra long, hardened blade and ATLAS D-handle
Digging spade ATLAS DIAMANT with extra hardened, forged and polished blade, equipped with a flat step. Blade length 39 cm, blade width 14 cm. Complete with ash wood ATLAS D-handle, 85 cm long.
The blade has forged springs and a thickness of 2.5 mm. As a result, this digging spade is very strong. Thanks to the step, footwear is not damaged.
Because of the large blade, the ATLAS DIAMANT digging spade is used for all kinds of groundworks in construction, infrastructure and road building. In addition, this spade model is also ideal for digging up and planting trees, shrubs and hedges, for example.
The ATLAS D-handle is made from ash rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood is computer-controlled, re-dried in a climate chamber. This prevents the handle from shrinking, keeps the tool firmly fixed to the handle, and allows the through-mount T-grip to be pressed onto the handle without glue or staples. ATLAS handles are bent in boiling water. This allows the wood grain or fiber in the handle to bend with it and prevents the grain from running out of the handle. The bending process makes the handle extremely strong. In addition, the ATLAS handle is waxed with the plant-based Carnauba, which ensures a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters.
