ATLAS DIAMANT digging spade with extra long blade and step
ATLAS DIAMANT digging spade with an extra hardened, forged and polished blade, fitted with a flat step. Blade length 39 cm, blade width 14 cm. Complete with ATLAS shovel handle in a length of 85 cm.
The blade has forged-on springs and a thickness of 2.5 mm. This makes the digging spade very strong. Thanks to the step, footwear will not be damaged.
Because of the large blade, the ATLAS DIAMANT digging spade is used for all kinds of groundwork in construction, infrastructure and road building. In addition, this spade model is also ideal for digging out and planting, for example trees, shrubs and hedges.
The ASH ATLAS shovel handle is made from ash rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood is computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. As a result, the handle does not shrink, the tool stays rock-solid on the handle, and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or staples. ATLAS handles are bent in boiling water. This causes the wood grain or fiber in the handle to bend along with it, preventing the grain from running out of the handle. The bending process makes the handle extremely strong. In addition, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba, which ensures a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters.
