Suitable for adjusting various splitting axes and axes weighing 600 or 800 grams.
This set is used for fitting an axe handle provided with a groove. The wooden wedge is tapered and can therefore be easily driven firmly into the handle's groove. The wooden wedge should be installed as deep as possible and the remainder must be sawn off with a fine-toothed saw. The metal wedges are placed perpendicular to the wooden wedge already installed and provide secure locking. The axe handle swells and is clamped in the axe head.
