Steel fencing maul, garden hammer or fencing maul DE WIT with a weight of 3600 grams, square model, complete with oval ATLAS handle, 90 cm in length. Head dimensions 11 x 11 x 17.5 cm. Thanks to the oval shape of the handle, the hammer head always stays in the correct orientation. This steel fencing maul is suitable for driving metal posts, tent or ground anchors, sheet piling and fence posts.
ATLAS fencing maul handles are made from ash wood rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes. Thanks to the re-drying process the handle does not shrink and the head remains firmly fixed to the handle. Then the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba wax. This ensures the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural pale color. Waxing provides a longer lifespan and a pleasant smooth handle, preventing blisters.
