Dutch model shovel with polished blade and ash wood ATLAS shovel handle
Scoop shovel AB&C, Dutch model with dulstand 1/2 bent and blade size 00, complete with a bent ATLAS shovel handle with a length of 110 cm, fitted with a through-mount T-grip.
An AB&C (A. Bredt & Co.) scoop shovel is extra hardened, polished, and has a sharp edge.
The ATLAS shovel handle is made from ash wood rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood is computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. As a result, the handle does not shrink, the tool stays firmly attached to the handle, and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or a staple.
ATLAS handles are bent in boiling water. This allows the wood grain to bend with the handle and prevents the grain from running out of the handle. The bending process makes the handle extremely strong. In addition, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba, which ensures a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters.
