Ballast shovels with handles

A ballast shovel usually has an ash wood handle and a D-grip.

A ballast shovel with handle is made of aluminium, steel and sometimes of plastic. Often the handle has a D-grip for a good grip. Ballast shovels are widely used in construction, in industry, in the agricultural sector, by gardeners and pavers. For a smaller-sized blade there are various shovels with handles.
