The maul head is fitted with strong steel rings on both sides. This makes the head of this fencing maul very strong. Thanks to the oval shape of the handle, the hammer head is always in the correct striking direction.
ATLAS fencing maul handles are made from ash wood rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes. The second drying prevents the handle from shrinking and keeps the head firmly attached to the handle. The ATLAS handle is then waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This allows the wood to breathe, prevents it from absorbing water or dirt, and preserves its beautiful natural color. The waxing ensures a longer service life and a pleasant smooth handle, helping prevent blisters.
